1. What We Do Not Collect

This is probably the most useful thing we can tell you, so it comes first. When you use this site, we do not:

• collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact details;
• ask you to create an account, sign in, or set a password — this site has no account system;
• take payments or collect billing information — the tool is free and has no paid tier;
• use analytics, advertising, fingerprinting, or social media tracking of any kind;
• set cookies. This site sets no cookies at all — your language choice is carried in the URL rather than in a cookie;
• upload, copy, retain, or inspect the files you process.

2. How Your Files Are Handled

The images you choose are read directly by your browser and processed on your own device, by WebAssembly code running inside the page. They are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

This is a property of how the site is built, not merely a promise: there is no upload endpoint and no server-side component that could receive a file. Everything you see happens in the browser tab in front of you.

Your files stay in the tab's memory only while you are working. Closing or reloading the page discards them. Nothing is left behind on our side, because nothing ever reached our side.

3. What Is Stored in Your Browser

To remember your preferences between visits, this site uses your browser's `localStorage` on this domain. It holds only the following:

• `theme` — whether you chose light, dark, or system appearance.
• `compare:viewMode` — whether the quality-comparison dialog last used slider or split view.

This data stays on your device, is readable only by this site, and is never sent anywhere. You can remove it at any time by clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings — that only resets your preferences and does not affect any files.

4. Server Logs

This site is a set of static files hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, it records standard technical data when a page or asset is served: IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, and response status.

These logs exist to keep the site available and secure and to diagnose faults. We do not use them to profile visitors and we do not combine them with anything else — we hold nothing else to combine them with. They are retained by Cloudflare under its own operational policy; we do not export them or keep separate copies.

In some jurisdictions an IP address counts as personal data, which is why we mention this explicitly even though it is not something we set out to collect.

5. Third Parties

We keep third-party involvement to a minimum. The complete list is:

• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery for this site. Serving you a page necessarily reveals your IP address to it.

That is the entire list. In particular, web fonts are served from this domain, not from Google Fonts or any other font CDN: they are downloaded when the site is built and shipped with it, so viewing a page makes no request to a third-party font server.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information — we have none to sell, rent, or share.

6. Your Rights

Laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to object to its processing.

Because we keep no account and no personal records, there is normally nothing for us to look up, correct, or delete. The only data associated with you is the preference data on your own device, which you control directly and can erase by clearing this site's data.

If you nevertheless believe we hold information about you, or you wish to exercise a right in relation to the server logs described above, write to support@extstore.dev and we will respond. Please note that we may be unable to tie your request to any particular log entry — precisely because we do not track visitors.

7. Children

This site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included.

8. Changes to This Page

If we change the way this site handles data, we will update this page and revise the effective date shown at the bottom. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.

9. Terms of Use and Disclaimer

The following terms apply to your use of this site. If you use it, you accept them.

• Free and provided as is. This tool is offered at no charge and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. There is no service level and no guarantee of availability.
• Keep your originals. Processing runs in your browser and depends on your device, its memory, and your browser version. For some inputs it may fail or produce imperfect results. Always keep the original of anything you care about — never let this tool hold your only copy.
• Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, including lost or corrupted data and wasted time, whether direct, indirect, or consequential.
• Your content is your responsibility. You must hold the rights necessary to process the files you use here, and you must not use the site for unlawful purposes. Since your files never reach us, they remain entirely your responsibility.
• Intellectual property. The ExtStore name, and the design and code of this site, belong to us. The files you process remain wholly yours and we claim no rights over them.
